About Us
LANA Tallinn International Kindergarten (TIKi)
is a small, international community for children ages 1.5–7. As a cornerstone of the LANA educational family, we provide a calm, English-language environment where every child feels safe, known, and inspired to explore.
Our approach combines play, creativity, and inquiry, guided by the holistic LANA Approach and inspired by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
This helps children develop curiosity, independence, and confidence as they take their first steps toward a future of global learning.

Our Approach to Learning
Learning at LANA TIKi is active, creative, and child-centered.
Our youngest groups (ages 1.5–3) follow a play-based program built on the core principles of the LANA Approach, focusing on exploration, language development, and social-emotional skills.
From age 3, children formally engage in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), where inquiry and transdisciplinary learning guide their experiences. This powerful combination of the LANA philosophy and the IB framework prepares them for a smooth transition to international schools and a future of global education.
Our Team
Our teachers come from more than eight countries, bringing unique skills, languages, and experiences to the classroom.
What unites them is a shared passion for supporting every child’s growth, celebrating diversity, and building strong, trusting relationships with families.
Our Space
LANA TIKi is nestled in a cozy two-floor house just minutes from the city center, offering a peaceful setting with easy access to transport and Kristiine Shopping Mall.
Bright classrooms and age-appropriate furniture create a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to explore. Guided by the LANA philosophy, our spaces are designed as a “third teacher,” encouraging curiosity, independence, and meaningful play.
Outdoors, children enjoy a wooden play ship and truck, swings, a merry-go-round, and a large sandbox with a play kitchen and sand wall — perfect for imagination, movement, and social play.
