Parent Cooperation

Our Partnership with Families

At the heart of the LANA philosophy is a deep belief in partnership. We see parents not as clients, but as our most important allies in a shared journey to support a child’s development and well-being.

This partnership goes beyond daily updates about a child’s progress — it is about building a supportive, connected kindergarten community where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to grow.

Daily Feedback & Communication

We use the Eliis eKindergarten Portal to keep parents connected with their child’s learning every day.
Through Eliis, teachers share daily photos and notes about classroom activities, so parents can see what their child has been exploring.
Parents can also conveniently access schedules, menus, calendars, and development cards — staying informed and cooperating closely with teachers.

In addition to Eliis updates, we maintain regular face-to-face communication during drop-off and pick-up, and encourage parents to share feedback or questions with teachers and the management team anytime.

Parent Engagement in Kindergarten Life

Throughout the year, parents are invited to take part in vibrant community events and classroom activities. The school year begins with a Welcome Picnic, giving families a chance to meet and connect. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are celebrated together, and the kindergarten community gathers for the Winter and Summer Concerts. Other highlights include International Day, Profession Week, and the annual Book Drive. Parents are welcome to visit the classroom to read a story, share a tradition, or introduce their culture. Participation from families creates memorable experiences for children and strengthens the sense of community.

Parent–Teacher Conferences & Meetings

At the start of each academic year, we organize group parent–teacher conferences — an excellent opportunity for parents to meet their child’s teachers and discuss expectations for the year ahead.
Individual meetings are offered at the end of the year to reflect on the child’s progress, strengths, and areas for further growth.

We also host Parent Committee meetings and information sessions about different parts of the curriculum and program updates, so parents always feel informed and engaged.

Shared Responsibilities

We kindly ask parents to support the smooth running of the kindergarten by following the kindergarten’s guidelines and remaining open to communication. When parents and teachers work together, children benefit the most — feeling safe, supported, and celebrated in all areas of their development.
