LANA Tallinn International Kindergarten
A place where curiosity leads the way.
Guided by our own holistic LANA Approach, our cozy, play-based environment ensures every child is truly known and supported as they take their first steps toward a future of international learning.
Why Families Choose LANA TIKi
Small & Cozy Groups
With just 5–12 children per group, every child gets the attention they need. Small classes mean a calmer environment, strong friendships, and closer teacher–child connections.
Truly International
Each year we welcome families from 20+ nationalities. We celebrate Estonian traditions along with other cultural celebrations and host International Day together with parents, making every culture feel valued.
Caring & Connected
Each day begins with time to connect, helping children feel safe and ready to learn. Parents stay connected through daily feedback, photos, and personal check-ins with teachers.
Play, Curiosity & Real-World Learning
With our LANA approach, children explore big ideas through playful hands-on projects, nurturing mind, body, and emotions for joyful, balanced growth
A Home for Growing Minds
Our kindergarten is a calm, welcoming space where children are encouraged to explore, create, and grow every day.
With a close-knit community and a supportive atmosphere, children quickly feel at home and confident to take part in all aspects of school life.
Approach Inspired by the IB PYP & The LANA Philosophy
LANA Tallinn International Kindergarten is a candidate school* for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
We are pursuing authorization as an IB World School — part of a global network committed to high-quality, challenging, international education.
At LANA TIKi, the PYP shapes how we teach: children learn through inquiry, make connections across subjects, and grow into independent, critical thinkers with a global outlook.
Our own LANA Philosophy complements this by focusing on the whole child — nurturing minds, emotions, and values to inspire a generation that thinks wholly, feels deeply, and acts consciously. Together, the PYP and the LANA Approach give children a strong, joyful foundation for learning anywhere in the world.
Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. Learn more at ibo.org
