LANA: A Dream Embodied (Why LANA?)

While naming our approach, four pillars of future-proof education emerged—and formed the word LANA. It also mirrors the first syllables of Natalja’s name (LApp NAtalja)—a powerful sign that her life’s path and mission had become one.

Harmony of Four Voices

LANA is more than the sum of parts; it’s the balance of four voices:

  • Voice of Nature: grounding, growth, calm → nature-based learning, natural materials, healthy food.

  • Voice of Arts: self-expression, emotion, play → music, dance, painting as bridges to learning.

  • Voice of Learning: inquiry, structure, intellect → inquiry-based, bilingual programme aligned with IB.

  • Voice of Agency: action, choice, responsibility → child-led projects and “conscious freedom.”
    Result: where these voices meet, a whole, harmonious individual—the LANA graduate—emerges.

Our Team & Community

Today, LANA is a family affair. My husband, Anton, is the solid foundation upon which the material embodiment of our ideas rests. My parents are our indispensable support. Together, we are a team that invests not only our work but our entire soul into this project.

But LANA is now more than just our family.
