Why LANA???
A dream made real: a humane, future-proof approach where children grow through inquiry, agency, nature, and the arts—held by a global, heart-led community.
LANA: A Dream Embodied (Why LANA?)
Pillars (L-A-N-A):
Learning — through inquiry and exploration
Agency — becoming the author of one’s life
Nature — our third teacher
Arts — the universal language of the soul
A Synthesis of the World’s Best Practices
We stand on the shoulders of great humanists; LANA mindfully blends globally respected ideas
Reggio Emilia
The child as a competent researcher; expression through the arts.
Maria Montessori
The “prepared environment” that nurtures independence.
Waldorf
Deep respect for rhythm, natural materials, and color.
Nordic approach
Unconditional love of free play and daily connection to nature.
The International Baccalaureate (IB)
If these methods are our heart and soul, IB is our intellectual backbone—offering inquiry structure, an international learner profile, and a trusted framework for raising global citizens.
Harmony of Four Voices
LANA is more than the sum of parts; it’s the balance of four voices:
Voice of Nature: grounding, growth, calm → nature-based learning, natural materials, healthy food.
Voice of Arts: self-expression, emotion, play → music, dance, painting as bridges to learning.
Voice of Learning: inquiry, structure, intellect → inquiry-based, bilingual programme aligned with IB.
Voice of Agency: action, choice, responsibility → child-led projects and “conscious freedom.”
Result: where these voices meet, a whole, harmonious individual—the LANA graduate—emerges.
Our Team & Community
Today, LANA is a family affair. My husband, Anton, is the solid foundation upon which the material embodiment of our ideas rests. My parents are our indispensable support. Together, we are a team that invests not only our work but our entire soul into this project.
But LANA is now more than just our family.
It is a team of unique educators who share our values.
It is a community of conscious parents who, like we once did, are searching for something more for their children.
Join us in building a kinder, wiser world of education.
