Mission Statement
LANA Harku International Kindergarten is a modern and caring bilingual community for children ages 1.5–7. As a proud member of the LANA educational family, we provide a warm, welcoming environment where Estonian-speaking children grow strong in their native language while becoming confident and fluent in English.
Our approach combines joyful play, creativity, and inquiry, guided by the holistic LANA Approach. This helps children develop curiosity, independence, and a global mindset as they take their first steps toward a future of limitless possibilities.
Our Philosophy: Mission & Vision
At LANA Harku, we believe that early childhood is the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Our daily practices reflect the overarching mission and vision of LANA Education: to nurture curious, caring, and confident learners who are ready to embrace the world. We are committed to helping every child grow into themselves in a community built on respect, wholeness, and partnership.
Our Approach to Learning
Learning at LANA Harku is active, creative, and child-centered. Our approach is built on the synergy of the Estonian National Curriculum and our proprietary LANA Approach. This powerful combination ensures children achieve local developmental milestones while benefiting from a world-class, holistic educational philosophy.
For our youngest learners (ages 1.5–3), the focus is on gentle care, building trust, and playful exploration in a nurturing bilingual environment.
From age 3, children dive deeper into the LANA Approach, using inquiry and hands-on projects to guide their experiences. They learn to connect ideas, solve problems, and express themselves creatively in both Estonian and English, preparing them for a smooth transition to any top primary school.
