I believe that working with children is one of life’s most dynamic adventures. I began my journey in 2021, gaining experience with children of all ages, from the youngest toddlers to teenagers.
What I love most is that no two days are alike. Children, with their incredible sincerity and authenticity, inspire me to be the best version of myself. Their small, everyday steps of progress are a powerful reminder of why this work is so meaningful.
Alongside my role as a teacher at LANA Harku, I am deepening my knowledge by studying Special Education at Tallinn University. I also lead an active and balanced life, finding energy in mountain hiking, skiing, swimming, and yoga. I feel it is essential to bring this same sense of balance and positive energy to the children I work with every day.
My name is Farzaneh Zareei, and I have been a Kindergarten Group Teacher at Tallinn International Kindergarten for the past three years. I hold both a BA and an MA in Clinical Psychology and began my career as a clinical psychologist and university lecturer. I first worked with patients experiencing severe psychological disorders before specializing in childhood disorders—primarily within the field of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Specific Learning Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and motor disorders. My expertise also includes the use of neurofeedback and play therapy.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, supporting both their educational and emotional development. I speak Persian and English, which allows me to connect meaningfully with children and parents alike. My background in psychology and child development led me naturally to teaching, where I can combine my professional knowledge with my passion for helping children grow.
As a teacher, I enjoy designing meaningful and engaging projects that spark children’s curiosity and creativity. I love teaching deep concepts and topics in ways that are both accessible and fun, using storytelling, role play, and hands-on activities to help children connect new ideas to their own experiences.
